Brock Thornton , better known as Boogie T , is an American Electronic Music Producer and DJ based in New Orleans . His music is of the dubstep and riddim variety.
Boogie T released a single titled “The Goop” with Blak’d Out Records and since been on touring around the USA.
Born and raised in the swamps of Louisiana, playing and writing music since the tender age of eight, Brock Thornton aka Boogie T. has come along way to bring the low end ruckus.
Hailing from the South, the cradle of soul, it is easy to hear this influence in his music. Trap, Dubstep, Riddim, whatever you want to call it, for Boogie T. it has always been about entertaining.
Whether playing in bands, acting, DJ’ing or producing, his goal is simple: taking risks and pushing boundaries. And these risks are paying off as in a short amount of time, Boogie T.’s name continues to grow in the electronic music scene.

Thornton grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana and has been a musician throughout most of his life. He started playing piano when he was six, guitar when he was eight, and by the time he was fourteen, Thornton was teaching guitar lessons. Thornton would play blues guitar at local events and bars with other people in his younger years.
Thornton’s grandmother bought him his first recording program when he was eleven, the Sony Acid 5. He started producing on that as well as recording acoustic guitar and vocals.
Thornton got the name “Boogie B” from a variation of an old nickname. His mother would call him “Boogie B” but by the time he was in high school his peers would change it to “Boogie T.”
Boogie T would go on to perform at festivals around the world and produce dubstep and riddim. His most popular songs include “Hit ‘Em”, “Life’s A Bitch”, “Boogie Nights”, “Ain’t Safe” and “Flava.
Boogie T has collaborated with the like of Ganja White Night , Subtronics , MONXX and more.  He is a frequently collaborator with Squnto and they have performed many B2B sets together.
